I don’t know why, but as an average reader, I believe Shedhead1990 is likely telling the truth. About F22Ownage, I don’t know. For example, when he explains about Vulcan, he took the quote straight out from wikipedia “M61 Vulcan”. So unless he wrote the wiki himself, it is questionable. But it does not matter who is telling the truth and not. I think this aircraft is the remarkable piece of hardware.

Edit video section and where it says to select a thumbnail there should be a option to upload a still photo.
January 16th, 2009 at 1:14 pm
How did you get your partners photo as a thumbnail?

OK F22Ownage and Shedhead19990, end it here. Who really cares. I’m tired of getting emails of this, take this to a F-22 forum.

listen i do work on the f22, there is so much i could tell you to prove to you but i dont no who im talking to, and the stuff that would prove is all classified information, but remember, i only deal with the weapons systems on the f22, there are 12 stations 8 of which are internal, 4 of which are external on pylons that we dont use because it defeats the purpose of stealth

hahaha, ok then how come they started a training program for airmen straight outta basic WITHOUT DEGREES, for the f22 @ Sheppard AFB in TX??? i just spent 14 weeks there learning how to load munitions on the jet, and yes i have touched it, WITH NO DEGREE!!!
January 22nd, 2009 at 1:07 pm
If you want to throw a 1000 acronyms at each other thats fine with me…
January 22nd, 2009 at 6:29 pm
LMAO! you cant touch the F-22 without an minimum of an Associates degree. Even if you do there is a list of already exprienced Crews waiting to get assigned to the f-22.
January 23rd, 2009 at 6:52 pm
Do you no wat FLMM, TODO, TOD, or SMS stands for??? prolly not
January 25th, 2009 at 1:44 pm
YES I FUCKIN DO, yes they are taking airmen straight outta basic and putting them into tech school training for the f22, you do not need a degree to work on this jet, if i was you i would find out more before u open your mouth, i had five ppl in my class going thru tech school at sheppard AFB

You are an 18 year old kid. Nothing wrong with loving the f-22. And someday I hope you fly, or work on the f-22. Go for the gold bro. But please don;t talk about working on things, when you don;t.

A lighter version of the Vulcan developed for use on the F-22 Raptor, the M61A2, is mechanically the same as the M61A1, but with thinner barrels to reduce overall mass to 202 lb. The rotor and housing have also been modified to remove any piece of metal not absolutely needed for operation and replaces some metal components with lighter weight materials. The F/A-18E/F also uses this version.

February 8th, 2009 at 11:19 pm
o ya the turn rate is over 9gs by the way
February 9th, 2009 at 9:36 pm
now thats not in my carrer field, im strictly on the weapons system, but i do no about SMS, TOD, FLMM, TODO, all the steps to load an f22 with six aim120s, 2 aim9xs or i can go with two 1000 lb JDAMs, two aim120s, and two aim9xs, yes we now use aim9xs
February 12th, 2009 at 2:33 am
Oh and for the heck of it, what is the maximum loadout of an f-22?
February 15th, 2009 at 10:47 am
I been out of the service since 1995. I do know a hell of alot about the f-22 EMC systems as well as the f-22 RWR abilities.
SO here is 2 questions that any person working on F-22 can answer.
What is the sustained turn rate of the f-22 at supersonice speeds.
What new ordinance was just cleared for the f-22operational use.
None of this is classified….
February 17th, 2009 at 12:58 am
No, you don’t.
